RTE Provisions |
As per the Right to Education Act (RTE), 2009, every child in the age group of 6-14 years shall be admitted in a neighborhood school. |
All the Out of School Children identified have to be enrolled / mainstreamed in to age appropriate class and there-after be provided special training in |
Residential Special Training Centers / Non- Residential Special Training Centers. |
After completion of special training, the children are being readmitted / continued in the regular schools. As such, the mainstreaming of all Out of School Children who have undergone special training is ensured. |
In pursuance of RTE Act, 2009, all the out of school children should be admitted into formal schools. This will also include children with special needs (CWSN) who can be integrated with the regular school education system. |
In an effort to curb the practice of child marriages the Government have passed laws that mandate the registration of all marriages in order to make it a valid marriage. |
